Veeramamunivar Speakers Forum

Veeramamunivar Speakers’ Forum is an organization established by some orators of Kanyakumari District on November 7, 1979. Its aim is to develop oratory skills among the youth and promote social awareness and debates through discussions and dramas. The members meeting is held every Wednesday at 6:30 PM, and the annual day is celebrated on November 8 every year.

The forum conducts various competitions for children and youth at district and state levels, including elocution, debates, and drama. Thousands of programmes have been successfully conducted so far. The “Solvallalar Award” is presented every year to outstanding orators in memory of the late M. S. Masilamani.
